The United States accounts for roughly 43% of all MSPs in our global dataset — the single largest concentration by a wide margin, and the reason most channel programs launch there first.

MSSPs represent about 29% of the US MSP population. That ratio is the clearest signal in the dataset of how far security has moved from an add-on to a standalone discipline. It also means nearly a third of the addressable market for security vendors is already operating as a dedicated security practice rather than a general IT provider.

The UK and Ireland punch well above their size. With 15,830 MSPs against a far smaller economy than the US, the region has one of the highest MSP densities per business in the world — a long-standing pattern in the UK channel.

DACH is about 27% of the European MSP population but has proportionally fewer MSSPs — 2,280 against 11,190 MSPs, roughly 20%, compared with 29% in the US. Security specialization in German-speaking markets sits behind the US.

ANZ is the smallest covered region at 6,251 MSPs, but with 2,171 MSSPs it has the second-highest security specialization ratio at roughly 35% — the highest of any region here.

Every record in the MSP database passes through a verification cycle before it reaches an export: website validation, business email and phone verification, industry and service classification, and firmographic enrichment for employee count, revenue band and technology stack.

Data sourcing. All records are compiled from publicly available business information and ethically sourced third-party data. The dataset is maintained in line with GDPR and CCPA requirements, which matters if you are running outreach into the UK, Ireland, Europe or California.

Accuracy. Verified business emails across the database maintain 98% deliverability. Where a CEO or Managing Director contact is unavailable — under 10% of records — we substitute another decision-maker at the same company rather than leaving the field blank.
