Global MSP Market Data 2026: Size, Growth & Country Comparison
The global managed services market was valued at $401.2B in 2025 and is projected to reach $847.4B by 2033 (9.9% CAGR, Grand View Research). Growth, size and provider density still vary by country.
Use the snapshot below to compare markets, then browse managed service providers in each country directory.
By country
Managed Services Market by Country
The UK, Canada and Germany figures below share one Grand View Research methodology (2025 base, 2033 horizon), so those three markets are comparable. The United States row uses a 2024 base and a 2030 forecast — see the footnote. Together these markets account for a large share of global managed services revenue.
| Country | Revenue | Share of global | Forecast | CAGR | Fastest-growing segment |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| United States* | $88.1B (2024) | 26.3% (2024) | $183.5B (2030) | 13.3% (2025–30) | Managed security |
| United Kingdom | $29.7B (2025) | 7.4% | $64.3B (2033) | 10.2% | Managed mobility |
| Canada | $29.3B (2025) | 7.3% | $62.4B (2033) | 10.0% | Managed security |
| Germany | $27.0B (2025) | 6.7% | $53.5B (2033) | 9.0% | Managed mobility |
On the US figures. Grand View Research has not yet republished its US country outlook on the 2025 base year used for the UK, Canada and Germany. The US row therefore uses the 2024 base and a 2030 forecast horizon, and is not directly comparable on those two columns. For context, North America as a whole accounted for 33.0% of global managed services revenue in 2025.
On Australia. Grand View Research does not publish a separate managed services country outlook for Australia. In the adjacent cloud managed services market, Australia generated $2.9 billion in 2025 — 2.0% of the global cloud managed services market — and is forecast to reach $9.0 billion by 2033 at a 15.4% CAGR. That is among the highest cloud growth rates of any market covered on this site, reflecting unusually high cloud adoption relative to market size.

UK and Canada are almost the same size
Both sit at roughly $29B and just over 7% of the global market, growing at about 10% annually. Canada is the fastest-growing managed services market in North America; the UK is the fastest-growing in Europe and is projected to lead the European region by revenue in 2033.
Growth rates cluster tightly
Every market here grows between 9% and 10.2% (excluding the differently-based US figure). No country is a materially better or worse place to buy managed services on growth alone — choose based on where your business operates and where a provider can physically support you.
Security in North America, mobility in Europe
In the US and Canada, managed security is the fastest-expanding solution segment. In the UK and Germany, managed mobility leads. If you are buying in Europe, expect stronger device and endpoint management offerings; in North America, expect deeper security stacks in standard contracts.
Directories
Browse managed service providers by country
Each country directory lists providers actually operating in that market, with company profiles, service coverage and location data. Regulatory environment, pricing norms and provider density all vary — a US-headquartered MSP serving a German manufacturer is a different proposition from a local Munich provider. What the data means when choosing a provider
Security is no longer optional
Managed security is the fastest-growing segment in every major market. Ask what is in the base contract, not what is available as an add-on.
SMB demand is outpacing enterprise
SMBs grow at 11.4% CAGR vs ~9% for large enterprises. Smaller companies now have real options beyond scaled-down enterprise packages.
Hosted is growing; on-prem is still largest
Most estates are hybrid. Match the provider to your actual mix of cloud and legacy infrastructure.
Healthcare is the fastest vertical
Compliance is driving demand. Ask for named client references in your sector — generalists often claim expertise they do not have.
Growth rates are close by country
UK, Canada and Germany grow between 9% and 10.2% on the same 2025–2033 basis. The US 13.3% figure uses a different window. Choose where the provider can physically support you, not the highest CAGR.
Buyer's Guide
How to Compare Managed Service Providers
The largest provider isn't necessarily the best fit for your business. Don't choose an MSP based on company size alone — a useful comparison should consider:
Technical Expertise
Review the provider's experience with the technologies your business actually uses — Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, networking, endpoint security, backup platforms, RMM and PSA tools.
Cybersecurity
Ask how the MSP protects privileged accounts, endpoints, backups, networks, and administrative access — especially if it will have elevated access to your environment.
Industry Experience
An MSP supporting healthcare has different expertise than one supporting manufacturing or financial services. Look for relevant client experience, not just generic service lists.
Service-Level Agreements
Review response times, escalation procedures, support hours, availability commitments, and exclusions — a lower price isn't better value if key services are excluded.
Scalability
Your MSP should support your business as users, offices, applications, and security requirements change. Ask how they handle onboarding and major infrastructure changes.

Scope of managed services
Grand View includes BPO, over 40% of their managed information services segment. Firms that exclude BPO report much smaller markets.
Telecom vs IT services
Managed network and communication are large categories some firms classify under telecom rather than IT.
Vendor vs provider revenue
Some estimates count what MSPs bill clients; others count platform and tooling revenue sold into the channel.
Regional attribution
A global provider serving a US client may be booked to headquarters country or to the client's country.
Takeaway: compare estimates from the same firm across years or countries. A single number with no source is marketing.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Market size, growth, and how to find managed service providers in each country.
The global managed services market was valued at $401.2 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $847.4 billion by 2033, growing at a 9.9% CAGR, according to Grand View Research. Other research firms report figures between $330B and $400B for the same year — the difference comes down to whether business process outsourcing and managed telecom services are included in the definition.
The United States is the largest single national market for managed services and is projected to remain the global leader through 2033. North America as a region accounted for 33% of global managed services revenue in 2025.
Asia Pacific is the fastest-growing region globally. Among the countries covered in this directory, the UK is the fastest-growing market in Europe (10.2% CAGR to 2033) and Canada is the fastest-growing in North America (10.0% CAGR). Australia leads on cloud managed services growth specifically, at 15.4% CAGR.
Managed security is the fastest-growing solution segment globally. Within end-use verticals, healthcare is growing fastest, driven by compliance requirements and clinical system modernisation.
The SMB segment is growing faster — 11.4% CAGR compared with roughly 9% for large enterprises — though large enterprises still account for the larger share of total revenue. This means the number of providers building service models specifically for smaller businesses is increasing.
Different research firms define managed services differently. Some include business process outsourcing, which can account for over 40% of the total. Others exclude managed telecom and network services, or attribute revenue to the provider's headquarters country rather than the client's. Compare estimates from the same firm across years or countries rather than mixing sources.
Use the country directories on this page to browse providers operating in each market, then narrow by city, service type and industry. For US businesses, browse the city directories. You can also search the full managed IT services directory for verified managed service providers by location and service mix.
An MSP manages broader IT operations — infrastructure, helpdesk, cloud, backup. An MSSP focuses specifically on security: threat detection, monitoring, vulnerability management and incident response. With managed security the fastest-growing segment of the market, many MSPs now offer both, but capability depth varies significantly.
